In this project was created a secure and reliable way to access applications and apply Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) using Let's Encrypt. To apply the SSL certificate it is necessary to obtain a domain and point this domain to the server that has NGNIX. In NGNIX, security rules are configured for access to internal applications. To automate the SSL application and generation process, a shell script executed by CERTBOT is used, which validates and periodically checks whether the certificate needs to be renewed. This way, it is possible to access the website via the https protocol.

Software and technologies used:

• Ubuntu: Operational system.

• Docker: Containerize applications.

• Nginx: Proxy reverse.

• CERTBOT: Execute the shell script and communicate with Let's Encrypt.
